PINK

DRESS & HEELS : MISSGUIDED // BAG: ASOS // SUNGLASSES: PIECES via ASOS

How gorgeous is this Misguided dress? I am absolutely obsessed! Neutrals are popping up everywhere at the moment and this silky pink colour is so incredible.
I'm not normally one for dresses until it gets super hot but I just love the way this one sits on me. I love the detail of the cross over/ wrap style skirt as it adds a bit of detail to the dress without loosing the beautiful simplicity of the piece.

Paired with a minimalistic chain detail bag and tortoise shell glasses keeps the neutral theme, matching the nude. This dress is so perfect for a summer evening event or even dressing down during the day with some flats.

It feels so good to be back blogging and I've got more posts to come so keep checking back for those! If you want to read why I've been away for a while click here to read my last post..

COMING BACK

SUNGLASSES: PIECES via ASOS // DRESS & HEELS: MISSGUIDED // BAG: ASOS

Up until a few months ago, it felt so easy and so natural to be posting every week on my blog. I loved it so much and it felt so good to let my creative side out by styling, shooting and writing blog posts. It was something that I would look forward to doing every day. I would spend hours on Instagram, reading magazines, finding inspiration from everywhere I could, and releasing it all through my blog.

Things got a bit crazy with both my personal life and blogging. I started feeling uncomfortable with the content I was producing and didn't have the means to change it. I found it hard to balance my job with my blog and started feeling dejected, restricted and lost.

My goal is always to create something beautiful and inspiring, on any level. Whether it inspires one person or more, I want to be able to sit back and look at my work and feel content, rather than empty. I didn't want to post things that didn't reflect who I was or am now. It might sound like a silly thing to those who don't understand how much work I/bloggers/creatives put into their work, but for me, it is a huge part of who I am. Not to be able to create things 24/7, which is what I had been doing for years in school, was really hard for me.

Finding the motivation to start fresh was hard but with some help, I'm finally at a place where I can come back with confidence and write about what I love. The full photos for this outfit will be posted on Monday, so stay tuned. I just wanted to write what I felt, so I can start fresh here, because I feel like it's a new chapter for my blog...
